With the continuous development of information technology, its application in education and teaching is also increasingly popular, often used to solve some traditional teaching methods are difficult to solve the problem,so as to improve the quality of teaching. In primary school mathematics teaching, because of the abstractness of mathematics knowledge and the thinking characteristics of primary school students,it is often necessary to support teachers' teaching and students' learning with the help of information technology.Model thinking is one of the ten core qualities proposed in mathematics curriculum standards for compulsory education(2011 edition).Model thinking is a core quality which involves the learning contents of four major fields of mathematics and plays an important fundamental role in the mathematics learning of primary school students.Hohhot no.17 middle school is a nine-year comprehensive school integrating primary school and junior high school, located in the south of the city of the urban and rural fringe.Through a period of internship in Hohhot no.17 middle school, the author found that are under the yoke of the traditional teaching concept, combined with the limited to the application level of information technology, the elementary school mathematics classroom teaching is still "teaching-oriented" mode of transfer-acceptance,students are in the position of passive acceptance of knowledge, which is not conducive to the cultivation of students' model thinking. Therefore,by referring to relevant research results and guided by modern teaching philosophy, this study attempts to introduce teaching strategies such as classroom random interaction,micro-lesson application, group competition into primary school mathematics teaching, aiming to change the traditional teacher-student interaction and explore feasible ways to improve the actual effect of primary school mathematics teaching through empirical approaches. The research objects are primary school fourth-grade students. Two classes with similar level are selected through the pre-test,and the teaching content of "model building" in the math class is selected, and the research is carried out with the experimental research method. The control class adopts the traditional teaching method, and the random interaction carried out by the experimental class is realized by using the software of "master of class optimization".According to the key and difficult contents of the teaching, the micro class is used to consolidate and strengthen, and the group competition learning activity is carried out on the theme of "modeling application".During the experiment, timely collect, record and sort out relevant data. After analyzing the experimental data, the preliminary conclusion is drawn: The homework of the students in the experimental class are better than those in the control class. The test result of the experimental class is better than that of the control class. The study interest and attitude of the experimental class are better than that of the control class. Therefore, the preliminary research conclusion indicates that the application of relevant strategies is conducive to promoting the cultivation of students' model thinking. Finally, this paper reflects on the whole research process, analyzes some of the deficiencies and room for improvement, and gives preliminary consideration to further research ideas.
