| In the revised full-time compulsory Education stage Mathematics Curriculum Standard(Experimental draft)in 2011,it is explicitly mentioned that logical reasoning,as a very important mathematical ability,is included in the core literacy.This paper studies the logical reasoning ability of junior high school students and discusses the relationship between their grades and logical reasoning ability.In this study,306 students in gradeof a key junior high school in Guangdong province were enrolled in the study.(1)The present situation of mathematical logical reasoning ability test is analyzed,and the following four conclusions are obtained:(2)The overall logical reasoning ability of junior high school students is in the middle-level,and the performance of deductive reasoning is better than that of reasonable reasoning;there are significant differences in the total score and each dimension of reasoning.(3)There are significant differences in logical reasoning,reasoning and deductive reasoning between ordinary schools and a class of schools.In reasoning,there are significant differences in inductive reasoning,analogical reasoning and statistical reasoning.In deductive reasoning,propositional reasoning and operational reasoning also have significant differences(4)In relation to academic achievement,logical reasoning,reasonable reasoning,deductive reasoning and achievement showed positive correlation.In the sub-dimension of reasonable reasoning,inductive reasoning,analogical reasoning and achievement were positively correlated.There is no correlation between statistical induction and achievement.In the subdimension of deductive reasoning,both propositional reasoning and operational reasoning are positively correlated with their scores.(5)the mathematics reasoning ability of junior high school students as a whole is significantly correlated with academic achievement,academic achievement and logical reasoning accomplishment,and the higher the academic achievement,the better the logical reasoning accomplishment as a whole.In academic achievement and reasonable reasoning and deductive reasoning,the higher the academic achievement,the better the reasonable reasoning and deductive reasoning as a whole.The higher the academic achievement is,the better the inductive reasoning is,the better the analogical reasoning is,the higher the academic achievement is,the better the inductive reasoning is,the better the analogical reasoning is.As far as statistical induction is concerned,there is no significant correlation between them and academic achievement.T Statistics of correlation coefficient Test between academic Achievement and propositional reasoning and operational reasoning of Junior Middle School students The significant probability of the quantity is 0,000,less than 0.05,that is,the higher the academic achievement,the better the proposition reasoning and deductive reasoning as a whole.Overall,junior high school students’ mathematical reasoning ability is positively correlated with academic achievement.(6)the students’ performance in mathematical reasoning is very good,the performance is very poor,the lowest score has a great influence on the average score,and the polarization is very serious. |
