Research On The Relationship Between Social Workers And Clients

Under the trend of the state's support for the development of social work policies and the rapid development of social work,this research examines local professional relations to lay the foundation for promoting the professionalization of social work practices and to improve the professionalism of social workers.This paper mainly discusses the characteristics,formation mechanism and influence of local professional relations under the influence of human society and professional norms,and it provides strategies for the practice of professional relations.Through qualitative research methods,this paper collects data by in-depth interviews and uses the form of three-level coding to analyze and organize the data.It finds the following conclusions: First of all,non-single professional relationship is formed in the interaction of local professional relationship.There is not only professional relationship between service users and social workers,but also human relationship,which is reflected in two aspects.For one thing,human relationship is caused by human contact and emotion in the direct interaction between social workers and service users.And in practice,there are four main forms of expression,that is,kindness relationship,reciprocity relationship,emotional satisfaction relationship and benefit relationship.For another thing,when establishing and maintaining professional relationships,social workers take advantage of the power of relationships in human society and play the role of relationship intermediary.Secondly,the professional authority of social work has not been established yet.Social workers have to rely on personal interpersonal trust to obtain professional recognition in practice,which makes it hard to avoid human relationship in the interaction with service users.That is to say,low recognition and personal trust and emotions in the interaction are the main causes of human relationship.Thirdly,the interaction of human relationship makes service users have a wrong understanding of social work and be dependent on social workers.Therefore,in order to change the wrong understanding of social work and gradually reduce the dependence of service users,social workers has to adopt the strategy of clarifying and improving their initiative in practice.Finally,from the micro level,the paper proposes countermeasures for social workers in the practice of relationships,including professional clarification through actions and words,skillfully utilizing the power of relationship mediation,and enhancing the usefulness of professional services.From the macro level,it puts forward some measures which contains building a platform for integrating social resources and playing the function of professional policy advocacy.At the end of the paper,the author discusses and reflects on professional relationship in practice from the aspects of professional boundary,the focal point in professional relationship practice and the impact of project operation.Based on the characteristics of the local human society,this paper combines the professional relationship practice of social work through qualitative research methods to examine the professional relationship of social work and analyze the characteristics of local professional relations.It provides a basis for the construction of the theory of local professional relations,and gives a reference for enhancing the recognition of social work and promoting the development of social work.
