With the continuous development of science education reform in primary schools, especially the gradual diversification of science textbooks, how to choose science textbooks suitable for the region or the school for teaching is an urgent problem to be solved in China's primary school science teaching in the present and future. Therefore,it is particularly important to conduct an appropriate evaluation of primary school science textbooks. In order to better understand the relevance of primary science textbooks, this study takes the primary school science textbooks of the(grades 3-6)as the research object, mainly focusing on the following three questions: First,What is the overall degree of relevance of textbooks? Second, what are the possible unsuitable aspects of the textbooks? Third, how to improve the relevance of the textbooks? In order to solve the above problems, this study first analyzes the consistency of primary school science textbooks and curriculum standards by using SEC consistency analysis tools. The results show that the primary school science textbooks of the(grades 3-6)have higher consistency with the curriculum standards..Subsequently,this study further applied fuzzy comprehensive evaluation to evaluate the appropriateness of primary science textbooks. This part of the study first included the views of scientific textbook researchers, combined with the opinions of users of science textbooks, and constructed the appropriateness evaluation index for primary school science textbooks from the eight criteria of curriculum standards, students, teachers, regions and schools.system.Then,using the questionnaire survey method and the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method, the primary school science textbooks of the(grades 3-6)are evaluated from the teacher dimension and the student dimension. The results show that the primary school science textbooks of the(grades 3-6)have good relevance from the perspective of textbook users and teachers. The setting is not reasonable, the difficulty is not moderate enough, the teachers are difficult to control, and the students have difficulty in learning.Second, some of the contents of the textbooks are not closely related to the students' life. Some of the extracurricular activities are not reasonable enough to be well located in the area and school.Thirdly,in the textbooks, the knowledge of the four fields of material science, biological science, earth and space science, technology and engineering is not penetrated enough, the content of textbooks is not flexible, and teachers are difficult to adjust according to the needs of teaching;fourth The writing of textbooks is incompatible with the local economic and social development. There are contents that teachers and students cannot understand.Fifth, some experimental equipment and teaching equipment required by textbooks do not conform to the actual situation of the school.Classrooms, computers and other classrooms cannot meet the teaching requirements of textbooksThis study analyzes the textbooks of the primary school science(grades 3-6)from the perspectives of the consistency of textbooks and curriculum standards, and the application of appropriateness,in order to provide research ideas for the selection and evaluation of primary science textbooks.Provide reference for the preparation and revision of the new version of the primary science textbook.
