| The Research of International Textbook Evaluation Methods. Textbook is not only a concrete manifestation of the content of curriculum, but also the basis for teachers to design and implement teaching activities, the quality and implementation of the text will affect the overall quality of the course. In recent years, textbook's developing trend of diversification and modernization led to researches' new exploration of textbook evaluation, the key tool for the textbook evaluation is evaluation method, its simplification has a serious impact on the evaluation subjects and the integrity of the evaluation process, it becomes one of the biggest obstructive factors of the textbook evaluation. According to this fact, in order to improve the level of textbook evaluation, this study introduces nine kinds of commonly used textbook evaluation methods of the current international fields with the aim of solving our existing problems on the basis of absorbing the essence of these nine kinds of textbook evaluation methods.Since there is very little research on textbook evaluation methods in China, so I devoted a lot of time and energy in a careful analysis of literature and research on foreign materials to finish this paper.The paper is divided into four parts: 1.Introduction part; 2.The overview of international textbook methods; 3.The analysis of characteristics on contemporary international textbook evaluation; 4.The enlightenment of international textbook evaluation methods.The introduction part proposes the problem of this thesis– the simplification of evaluation method has a serious impact on the evaluation subjects and evaluation process's integrity, the literature review and the major research methods; The second part focuses on the concepts and their advantages,application processes,the notices of their application of nine kinds of commonly used textbook evaluation methods; The third part is the analysis of nine kinds of textbook evaluation methods; Based on the third part's analysis, the fourth part suggests a solution of the problems– construct a textbook evaluation process. The process of textbook evaluation is divided into three stages: The first stage is the pre-trial stage, subject specialists and experts in educational theories are the major body of evaluation. The comprehensive analysis method, iconography method, the checklist method and the content analysis method are often used in this stage. The second stage is the small-scale trial phase. Teachers and students begin to evaluate the quality of textbook application of the stage. Beside the quiet evaluation methods, kid-rating method, the experimental method, delphino, the questionnaire method and the chatting method are often used in this stage. The third stage is the promotion phase. People who related to the textbook are the major body of evaluation. Both the quiet evaluation methods and the moved evaluation methods are can be used in this stage. Although these three stages of textbook evaluation system have very close contacts and overlapping in evaluation methods and evaluation body, we must know that they are in different periods of the evaluation process and they all have their own unique values and significances. |
