| Under the general trend of modern education informationization,E-learning with its advantages of interactivity and convenience has become a useful supplement to traditional classroom learning.Blended learning which combine E-learning and F2 F learning,with its absolute superiority,is being favored and valued by researchers and educators.Student engagement is a necessary condition for learning to take place,academic engagement is an important factor in evaluating teaching quality.In view of the low level of academic engagement in Secondary Vocational Schools,this study based on Khan’s blended learning octagon framework theory,Astin’s student engagement theory,construct the initial theoretical model of the influencing factors of academic engagement in blended learning,and the academic engagement in blended learning and its influencing factors questionnaire are designed in combination with the actual situation of students majoring in tourism in Secondary Vocational Schools.Selecting 3 Secondary Vocational Schools in Changsha,which offer tourism majors,as the sampling range,the empirical analysis of the survey data was carried out byusing mathematical statistics T test,single factor analysis,correlation analysis,regression analysis and structural equation model path analysis.The main conclusions of the study are as follows:First,the overall level of academic engagement in blended learning of students majoring in tourism in Secondary Vocational Schools is in the medium-to-low;Academic engagements of blended learning of girls are obviously lower than that of boys;The overall engagement,cognitive engagement,and emotional engagement of blended learning are significant different between sophomore and junior.Second,platform resources,learning motivation,self-efficacy,teacher teaching,and campus environment have direct impacts on academic engagement.The direct impact of platform resources on academic engagement is the most significant,followed by campus environment and self-efficacy.Third,the campus environment also has a significant impact on self-efficacy and self-efficacy on learning motivation.Fourth,the impacts of the influencing factors are ranked as platform resource,campus environment,teacher teaching,self-efficacy,and learning motivation.This study also takes the "tour guide business" as an example to carry out the teaching case studyof blended learning of students majoring in tourism in Secondary Vocational Schools.Combined with the empirical research conclusions,the following suggestions are proposed:first,to build a high quality E-learning platform;second,to increase the supports of hardware and software conditions of secondary vocational schools;and third,to improve the level of teaching technology. |
