Geography practical literacy is one of the four core literacy proposed by the 2017 edition of the high school geography curriculum standards,and it is an essential disciplinary ability for middle school students.After the concept of core literacy was proposed,the cultivation of geographical practice ability began to receive the attention of the society.This study takes the second high school students of the Second Corps as the research object,and uses the literature method,observation method,questionnaire survey method,interview method and inductive summarization method to conduct a questionnaire survey on the second-grade high school students,the parents,and the geography teachers.Or interview to obtain research data,use SPSS and Excel software to analyze the data,sum up the status quo and problems of middle school students' geographical practice ability training.Based on the social personnel's request for the cultivation of the practical ability of middle school students and the analysis of the problems existing in the cultivation of geographical practice ability,the training strategy and the required supporting conditions,environment and counter measures are studied,and the training strategy is proposed accordingly.The main research contents and related conclusions are as follows:The first part is an introduction.Explain the background of the research and its significance.It is intended to use the methods of literature,observation,questionnaire,interview and summarization to develop the students' geographical practice ability from the perspective of the geographical practice ability applicable to the needs of society.The status quo is being investigated.The second part defines the concept of geography and geography practice,and studies the theoretical basis that supports this research,including pragmatism theory,constructivism theory and geography theory.The third part investigates and analyzes the application status of social personnel's geographical practice ability.In order to understand the application of geography practice ability in life and the geography practice ability required by society,the author conducted a questionnaire survey on social personnel.The survey results show that social personnel are relatively strong in disaster prevention and mitigation,identification,interpretation and observation,while drawing ability,inquiry ability and induction ability are weak.Social workers hope to develop students with cooperative communication,outdoor survival,direction,hands-on practice and independence.The fourth part analyzes the student questionnaire and teacher interview results.It isconcluded that the level of students' geography practice ability is general,and the ability to interpret and map ability is higher than other ability levels,and there is a lack of geographic investigation and investigation ability.In combination with teacher interviews,the author has combed the problems existing in the cultivation of middle school students' geographical practice ability.For example,it is difficult for students to link their knowledge with life,students have less interest in practicing activities alone,class is relatively tense,teaching tasks are heavy,and teachers practice teaching.The lack of experience,lack of equipment,less insufficient funds,and high security pressures,combined with the actual analysis of the existing problems.The fifth part puts forward the strategy of cultivating geographical practice ability based on the teaching practice.The author analyzes the training suggestions of social workers on the practical ability of middle school students and the problems existing in the cultivation of geographic practice ability.It summarizes the training conditions for the ability of geography practice,and proposes the training strategy of geographic observation and observation ability and the interpretation of maps.And drawing ability training strategy,geographic experiment ability training strategy,geographic investigation and investigation ability and geographic analysis ability training strategy.
