The goals of Chinese New Curriculum about writing in lower primary grades and higher primary grades are totally different.Students in lower grades mainly learn to write sentences,while ones in higher grades mainly learn to write compositions.During the process,the tasks leap from sentences to compositions of more than 300 words.Therefore,it is believed that it is necessary to add the Micro-writing drills to the writing drills in higher primary grades.Firstly,Micro-writing can be the transition between lower grades and higher grades.Secondly,the ways to do Micro-writing varies and the evaluation of it can be combined with new media,which probably can arise students' enthusiasm of writing.Last but not least,it is easy to do Micro-writing drills,for it costs less time and efforts,which also may contributes to accumulation of writing materials.However,we should know more about Micro-writing drills and conclude more Micro-writing teaching strategies in order to make good use of it.Therefore,the author hopes to do a research to provide practical Micro-writing teaching strategies and Micro-writing teaching examples.The thesis is divided into 4 parts:Part ?: Introduction.This part mainly introduces the reason,goals significance and methods of this research and domestic literary review.Part ?: Overview of Micro-writing as well as the reasons and significance of teaching Micro-writing in higher primary grades.This part mainly introduces the origin,content and characteristics of Micro-writing.The reasons are that Micro-writing not only adapts to the students' levels of psychological development but also can be the transition between lower grades and higher grades.Part ?: The analysis of current situation of writing teaching in higher primary grades.This chapter is described by doing a questionnaire research and an interview research.Part ?: Micro-writing teaching strategies in higher primary grades.It's also the main part of this thesis.This chapter is mainly about the design of writing task based on communicative context before writing,writing strategies of different styles during writing and evaluation system after writing.
