The creation of teaching situations is conducive to the construction and transfer of students' knowledge.The importance of situation teaching is also emphasized in the high school physics curriculum standards(2017 edition).Although many scholars and teachers have conducted research on situation teaching,there are still problems such as lack of situation teaching resources and insufficient teachers' ability to create contexts.In recent years,STEM education has risen in China and achieved certain results.Its contextualized teaching method has enlightening significance for the creation of physical teaching situations.Therefore,this study integrates the interdisciplinary,practical,and contextualization concepts of STEM education into high school physics context teaching,and attempts to provide a path to enrich the resources and methods of physical situation teaching and improve the ability of teachers to create teaching situations.This research firstly studies the status of physics situation teaching through literature research,understands the core connotation of STEM education,and clarifies the theoretical basis of physics situation teaching.Then,through the typical teaching case analysis,the characteristics of STEM education situation creation are obtained.Finally,based on STEM The principles,steps and strategies for the creation of high school physics teaching situations in education,the development of situation teaching examples and the analysis of teaching effects.We have the following conclusions:(1)STEM education-based high school physics teaching situation creation should have the characteristics of overall design,engineering integration,practice orientation,emphasis on cooperation,and diversepresentation.(2)The creation of the situation should follow the principles of fostering the core literacy of the physics discipline,paying attention to the practicality and authenticity of the situation,embodying the interest of the situation and the feasibility of the protection situation;(3)The process of creating a situation is divided into five steps:selecting teaching content,determining teaching objectives,selecting context materials,creating STEM scenarios,and evaluating and analyzing situations.Each step must meet certain requirements;(4)The physics concept teaching situation creation strategy is: creating a simple and interesting situation to introduce concepts;creating a hierarchical progressive situation to format concepts;creating an activity experience situation to help students understand concepts;creating a project problem situation to consolidate concepts.As for the teaching of physical laws: creating interesting situations and forming scientific problems;engineering experimentation to promote knowledge construction;expressing communication and understanding of physical meaning;using physical laws to solve engineering problems.(5)Compared with the traditional physics teaching situation,the physics teaching situation based on STEM education has the advantages of strong student participation,wide source of situation material and practical orientation,which is conducive to the cultivation of core literacy and problem solving ability,and can guide students to conduct career planning.
