It has been pointed out in “The standard of physics curriculum for compulsory education(2011 edition)" that “In the teaching of physics concepts and laws,the teaching content should be extracted from the real life of the students as far as possible,which makes the students learn the knowledge from the familiar situation.This will not only help students to understand concepts and laws,but also enhance students’ awareness of linking theory in practice.” In the physics teaching of junior middle school,this requires the teachers to create inspiring teaching situations fitting to the students’ cognition based on their life experience.This makes the students acquire the physical laws and master the relevant methods as well.Under the guidance of pedagogy and psychology theory,this paper studies the situation creation strategies and cases in current physics teaching of junior middle school in rural areas.The literature review method has been adopted to analyze the current status of situation creation in physics teaching.The definition of relevant concepts such as situation creation and physics laws teaching are then given.This study also elaborates and analyzes some existing relevant problems and then raises some concrete methods to situation creation based on the authors’ practices in physics teaching of junior high school in rural areas.These methods include the use of scraped products,things in-hand,stories and proverbs,and multimedia technologies to create situations,which are then in-turn adopted in teachings as“Light Reflection”,“The Law of Convex Lens Imaging” and “Characteristics of Sound”.The study reveals that,in physics teaching of junior middle school,creating situations fitting to the students’ cognition could stimulate their learning interest,and lead the students to investigate into the physics laws.The proposed situation creation strategies of physics teaching in junior high school need to be attempted,improved and refined in real teaching practice. |
