The folk competitive game is a typical folk game-a game that competes for the purpose of winning or losing.Folk sports games are both "fighting" and "competitive",both "single fight" and "team battle." In folk sports games,children not only have rich learning experience,but also can form excellent learning quality.In a broad sense,folk competitive games are an important learning activity.With the promulgation and implementation of the Guide for Learning and Development of Children Aged 3-6,the cultivation of children’s approach to learning has gradually become a major research area in preschool education in China.Because the formation of approach to learning is often implicit in the process of learning activities,it is difficult to directly observe.To this end,this study adopts the performance evaluation method,takes the folk competitive games as the expressive task,and interprets the approach to learning contained in the folk competitive games,in order to provide a scientific basis for the deep integration of folk games and kindergarten education.According to the procedure of performance evaluation,this study firstly used kindergarten teachers as the research object(N=60),and used the rating method to determine the performance tasks(screening 5 folk competitive games from 20 common folk competitive games).Then,the aged 5-6 children(N=30)were taken as the research object,and the live recording method was used to observe the children’s game(learning)behavior in the performance task.Finally,using video coding technology,the measurement results of children’s approach to learning in folk competitive games are obtained.Research indicates:1.The level of learning quality in folk competitive games is unbalanced: different learning qualities are different in different folk competitive games.2.The performance of learning quality in folk competitive games is situational: in different folk competitive games,the quality of children’s learning has significant differences.3.There are different relationships among the learning qualities in folk competitive games: in folk competitive games,the degree of correlation between learning qualities is different.4.The quality of learning in folk competitive games is subject to multiple influencing factors: the quality of learning is influenced by factors such as gender,duration of the game,and size of the group.This research can bring us the following enlightenment: the correct use of scientific methods can realize the modernization of folk competitive games,revitalize the vitality of folk competitive games;rational use of folk competitive games,can optimize the training methods of children’s learning quality.Therefore,teachers are advised to deeply interpret the learning quality in folk competitive games,which helps them to optimize the design and guidance of the game curriculum. |
