Vocational Education And The County Economy Coordinated Development Research

Vocational education is an important driving force in promoting the economic development,which is inseparable from the development of county-level economy.Since the reform and opening up,vocational education also provides more and more help for the economic development,especially in the case of the decline in the labor force.What’s more,vocational education plays a key role in promoting the optimization and integration of human resources allocation,and improving the comprehensive quality of employees and cultivating the professional skills of employed personnel.The basic unit of our national economy is county-level economy,the economic development depends on the benign development of county economy,and the benign development of county economy needs the coordinated development of vocational education and county economy.Taking Fengcheng as the research object,this thesis studies the correlation between the vocational education and economy of the city of Fengcheng.Since the reform and opening up,the city of Fengcheng has experienced rapid economic development.In 1978,the gross domestic product(GDP)of Fengcheng was only 270 million yuan.in 2016,the GDP has reached 42.37 billion yuan.During the period,the industrial structure of Fengcheng is constantly adjusted.In 1978,Fengcheng’s GDP structure(primary industry,Secondary industry,the proportion of tertiary industry)was 58.9:30.9:10.2;but in 2016,the composition ratio of Fengcheng’s GDP structure was adjusted to 15.5:49.4:35.1.The proportion of primary industry decreased significantly,and the proportion of second industry and the proportion of tertiary industry increased greatly.What’s more,the industrial structure was further optimized.The employment of primary industry and secondary industry is relatively stable,besides,the number of practitioners in the tertiary industry is increasing,and the requirements of professional knowledge and vocational skills of employees in Fengcheng enterprises are constantly improving.However,the Vocational School professional setting is not perfect,and the curriculum is unreasonable,the enrollment of vocational education is difficult,and the vocational education funds investment isinsufficient.These challenges have been restricting the development of vocational education,at the same time,the development level of vocational education affects the level of economic development.The economic development of Fengcheng provides economic foundation for the development of vocational education,and the high economic level can improve the development level of vocational education.The development of vocational education can train a large number of professional talents for economic development,which is conducive to improving the production efficiency of employees and thus promoting the development of Fengcheng economy.By expounding the present situation and economic development of vocational education in Fengcheng,this thesis analyzes the correlation between the vocational education and economic development in Fengcheng by constructing Vector Autoregressive model based on time series,and finds out the problem that Fengcheng vocational education and economic development are not coordinated.In the end,this thesis puts forward to the corresponding policy recommendations from four levels.The main contents are as follows:(1)This thesis expounds the research results on the relationship between education and economic development at home and abroad,and the relationship between vocational education and the development of county economy.On these basis,this thesis makes qualitative and quantitative analysis on the relationship between Fengcheng vocational education and economic development.(2)In quantitative analysis,this thesis introduces the construction of vector autoregressive model,which includes the Fengcheng Vocational school students,enrollment,the number of graduates and vocational education investment and other indicators and the GDP,per capita GDP,second-industry output as a share of GDP and the ratio of third-industry output to GDP and other indicators.The results show that the development of vocational education in Fengcheng will promote the rise of county economy and social development level,and the level of county economic development has a significant positive and dynamic role in promoting the development of vocational education,at the same time,the development of vocational education has a feeding effect on the development of regional economy and society.(3)From the perspective of quantitative and qualitative analysis on therelationship between vocational education and economic development in the city of Fengcheng,this thesis finds out the reasons for the uncoordinated development of the two,and puts forward corresponding countermeasures and suggestions from four aspects in view of its causes and problems.This thesis holds that it is necessary to promote the coordinated development of vocational education and county-level economy,so as to promote the economic development.
