In the modern times,the museum is regarded as a new type of social education institution because of its unique intuitive educational advantage,and it has become an indispensable part of social education.During the period of saving the country in China,the museum has received attention and development because of the educational trend of saving the country.Especially in the Republic of China,the museum was directly assigned to the Department of Social Education of the Ministry of Education.Museum education occupied a more important position in the social education of the period.The history of museum education has also become an important component of the history of modern Chinese society.During the Republic of China,the total number of Chinese museums was limited,and the typical museums serving social education were even less.However,during the Republic of China,newspapers and archives were rich in materials and easy to obtain.This made it possible to sort out the basic conditions of Chinese museum education during the Republic of China,so this article was formed.The article is divided into four parts: The first part is the introduction.It mainly expounds the basic concepts of museum and museum education,the research status of museum education in the Republic of China,and the basic situation of Chinese museums before the Republic of China.It is the foundation part of this paper.The second part is an overview of the museum during the Republic of China.It analyzes the background of the development of the museum during the Republic of China,introduces the types of Chinese museums,management systems,opening purposes and financial difficulties during this period,and summarizes the general situation of the construction and development of Chinese museums during the Republic of China.The third and fourth part is the focus of this article.On the one hand,it has learned about the contents,methods and related safeguard measures of museum education during the Republic of China by excavating official documents such as government documents and work reports of various museums during the period.On the other hand,it collects newspapers,magazines,travel notes,and statistical data to analyzethe actual situation of museum education during this period,and strives to objectively and accurately reflect the basic features of museum social education during the Republic of China.
