In the era of development,advances in science and technology.Science and technology to promote the development of the times,the times record technology growth drops.Through fruitful technology to develop is not looking from the stars,but into the areas of your life,at your fingertips,the use of high-quality tools.Mobile phone is an important achievement of modem science and technology,from the appearance,the size of the mobile phone by brick gradually evolved into a palm sized mobile phone or even mobile phone pocket watch;from the use,due to the promotion of the development of communication technology and the popularity of wireless networks,mobile phone is only with non intelligent mobile phone calls.Send and receive text messages and gradually become in addition to the above features also has entertainment,shopping payment,taxi meal,intelligent mobile phone and other learning kinetic energy to a body.The intelligent mobile phone convenient for people of all ages,has become an important part of people's life and learning.Smart phone in the education and learning function,can be achieved through some practical APP,MeteoEarth(global weather)is one of the most useful in geography teaching and has a lot of teaching resources APP.MeteoEarth is a powerful,easy to operate,is a professional software program using 3D weather,earths rotation design,high image resolution,strong visual impact,the weather,air pressure,rainfall,temperature,wind,cloud can do a full range of display.MeteoEarth in accordance with the wave of information era "Internet plus" class is a kind of trend,the application of information technology,provides a broad space for the development of junior high school geography teaching,showing the characteristics of static and dynamic and precise and rich resources in the teaching process,can build a more lively and interesting teaching situation,and fully mobilize the students the students' interest,can be abstract,complex geographical knowledge into more specific,simple,so as to improve the efficiency of learning,reinforcement learning effect.This paper will combine the characteristics of geography subject,the related theoretical knowledge and learning of junior high school students,psychological characteristics and practice closely together on the MeteoEarth teaching resources and the teaching of junior high school geography climate teaching content analysis,and make the teaching design of a specific case,discuss the application of MeteoEarth in junior high school climate the advantage of teaching and the problems,make a summary and research prospects,fully excavate the application value of MeteoEarth in practical teaching in geography.
