As one of the five core literacy goals of the history subject,"Historical Interpretation" has very important value in the study cof historical theory and the middle school history teaching.Neither historical events nor historical materials can speak on their own.In the process of teaching,teachers inevitably need to use some "Historical Interpretation" models to explain historical events in order to help students achieve understanding."Historical Interpretation" has a complete methodology,which is the model of interpretation at the methodological level.The methodological research results of "Historical Interpretation" in historical theory are relatively rich,but the exploration of its practical transformation still needs to be strengthened,so that the concept of "Historical Interpretation" and the corresponding methods have the problems of insufficient theoretical depth,accuracy and scientific nature in history teaching.Therefore,it is necessary to carry out practical transformation study on the connotation,extension and value of the key "Historical Interpretation" models and their effective use in the middle school history teaching practice.There are two typical"Historical Interpretation" models in the field of history.The first is the"Covering Law Model",which is characterized by the recognition of objective regularity of the causes of historical events.The second is the "Principle of Reasonable Action",which is manifested as the analysis of subjective motivation of historical events.The former explains why hi story occurs,while the latter expounds how history occurs.Both basically cover the entire academic debate on the nature of history and the mission of historians.The above two "Historical Interpretation" models are significant for teachers to guide students to grasp the historical development context and laws quickly and accurately in the limited classroom teaching time,and to excavcite the humanistic feelings behind historical phenomena carefully and deeply.At the same time,it puts higher demands on the theoretical literacy of teachers.This paper aims to define the basic concepts of the two "Historical Interpretation" models,elaborate their mutual relations,explore their use value,evaluate their application cases,summarize their application principles and provide practical help for first-line teaching.
