In order to alleviate poverty,to help the poor,education must go ahead.Teachers are the main force in poverty alleviation through education.At present,the precise poverty alleviation by education has reached a critical stage.However,the loss of teachers in poverty-stricken areas is common,and teachers are scarce,which directly affects the development of education and economic culture in poverty-stricken areas.Encouraging teachers to go to the west where education is most needed is not only a requirement for the development of education in poverty-stricken areas in the west,but also a requirement for the professional development of teachers.As one of the intrinsic causes of teacher's career development,professional values affect teachers' professional feelings,attitudes and behaviors.The study of professional values is conducive to promoting the professional growth and development of teachers,strengthening their responsibility for poverty alleviation,and thus contributing wisdom and strength to the development of education in poor areas..This thesis uses the methods of observation,interview and text analysis to study the professional values of a teacher who has been engaged in poverty alleviation through education for nearly 40 years.On the basis of observation and in-depth interviews,this thesis collects and analyses MR.X 's educational poverty alleviation stories to understand his professional value and its influencing factors.According to the internal and external professional value of teacher's professional value,this thesis analyses MR.X 's professional value and its influencing factors from six dimensions:social prestige,career development,self-realization,organizational management,altruistic dedication and environmental support.The study found that under the influence of social concepts,growth environment,parents,teachers,peers,professional value pursuit and their own professional growth,MR.X has formedprofessional values such as the pursuit of excellence,love and responsibility,and taking root in mountainous areas to serve teachers and students.Caring for poor students,there is no end,only the starting point.Great responsibility,glorious mission,duty-bound.It is his devotion to the cause of poverty alleviation through education that has made him an outstanding performer.Meanwhile,his concept of poverty alleviation through education and pursuit of professional value also promoted his professional development.Inspired by his story,the national poverty alleviation strategy must be implemented to promote the development of education in poor areas.Encouraging aspiring teachers to go west,where education is most needed;We will actively expand channels for poverty alleviation through education to achieve targeted poverty alleviation through education.Improve the educational poverty alleviation system and form a long-term poverty alleviation mechanism;Improve teachers' professional quality and shoulder the responsibility of setting up students.
