| Poverty has long restricted the development of countries around the world.In the past 70 years,China ’s rural poverty population has decreased by more than 700 million.The national poverty population has decreased from 99.99 million in 2012 to 5.51 million in 2019,a cumulative decrease of 93.48 million,with the poverty incidence dropped from 10.2% to 0.6% during the same period.With the incidence decline,the biggest obstacle of poverty alleviation has changed from poor natural conditions to insufficient comprehensive human quality.Poverty alleviation through education is considered to be one of the most fundamental,longest-lasting to solve this problem,which can effectively prevent the inter generational transmission of poverty and the return to poverty.Therefore,poverty alleviation through education have become the focus of the government at varied level and the academia.It is not difficult to find that the research on "Poverty alleviation through education" has achieved fruitful results,but there are still many things that needed to being explored.Firstly,the evaluation method for effect of poverty alleviation through education is relatively simple.Secondly,the influencing factors of effect poverty alleviation through education are vague,and the its mechanism is still need to be clarified;thirdly,the empirical research is relatively inadequate.Therefore,G County one of the poverty-stricken counties in Gansu Province is taken as the typical case in this article,and grounded theory(methods)and ordered Logistic model analysis methods are combined.In view of this,this article takes G county,a typical poor county in the west,as an example,and comprehensively applies grounded theory(method)and orderly logistic model analysis methods to attempts to construct an individual characteristics,policy formulation and implementation,resource integration and distribution,education concept and quality,cultural recognition The six-dimensional analysis framework of the effectiveness of education for poverty alleviation in the six dimensions of knowledge and environment,the mechanism of nurturing education and effectiveness,evaluates the effects of education in poverty alleviation in research areas,the influencing factors and optimization of paths,and solutions to problems.The results show that:(1)The effect poverty alleviation through education in G county is relatively low,and there are some shortcomings in multiple dimensions.Only the positive dimensions of policy development and realization are more obvious.However,the dimensions of individual characteristics,resource integration and distribution,educational philosophy and quality,cultural cognition and environment,and nurturing mechanism and effectiveness all show negative characteristics of imbalance,inequality,and scarcity.(2)The path and extent of the six dimensions of the influencing factors of the effect poverty alleviation through education are diversified.1 The dimension of individual family characteristics on poverty alleviation through education is mainly reflected in the number of children who completed school in the nation and family,the education of the head of the household,the specific types of work of the parents,the average annual income of the family,the family structure and particularity,etc.The effects are negative and the rest are positive.(2)The dimension of policy formulation and realization is mainly reflected in the public’s satisfaction with the implementation of education poverty alleviation policies,which is a positive impact.(3)The dimension of resource integration and allocation is mainly reflected in the use of teaching equipment and the impact of social welfare and charitable funding,both of which are positive effects.(4)The dimension of educational philosophy and quality is mainly reflected in the willingness to choose vocational schools,the occupation of courses due to farming or part-time employment,the degree of parental attention to children’s learning,the average annual investment in education,the recognition of educational quality,and whether to accept extracurricular tutoring.Or interest cultivation,among which the influence of course occupation due to farming or part-time occupation is negative,and the others are positive.(5)The dimension of cultural cognition and environment,all factors have a significant impact on the poverty alleviation effect of education.The direction of influence that reading is useful and confident of getting rid of poverty through their own efforts is positive,and the influence of surrounding mobile phone addiction is negative.(6)The dimension of the mechanism and effect of nurturing,the skills can be improved,the mindset can be more positive,the development of big cities,and the situation of college students returning home to start a business has a significant positive effect on the poverty alleviation effect of education;it is a negative effect because of sickness of reading and treatment.This research creatively uses the grounded theory(method)to identify the core influencing factors of the effect poverty alleviation through education and build a six-dimensional analysis framework.The combination of qualitative and quantitative reveals the mechanism and effect poverty alleviation through education,provide useful references for the development of education poverty alleviation theory,the consolidation of the effectiveness of education poverty alleviation,and the improvement of future policies of poverty alleviation through education. |
