With the demand and attention of the comprehensive quality training of primary and middle school students in China,STEAM education research has emerged in China in recent years.STEAM education is a comprehensive education that integrates science,technology,engineering,art,mathematics and other disciplines.At present,the focus of its research has gradually shifted from the theoretical level to the practical level.However,there are some problems in the practice research,such as the low amount of research and the shallow awareness of teachers and students on STEAM education.At the same time,there are still problems in the teaching of high school biology in China,such as the teaching status of a single teaching method and the low interest of students.In response to these problems,this paper combines high school biology teaching practice conditions and STEAM education concept to carry out high school biology curriculum case design and practical research.In the research process,research methods such as literature research method,empirical research method,questionnaire survey method,observation method,interview method and statistical analysis method were adopted.This thesis mainly studies the following three aspects:(1)the general teaching design process construction of STEAM education concept;(2)the high school biology curriculum case design under STEAM education concept;(3)the high school biology curriculum case under STEAM education concept Design practice.The research process is as follows:(1)Firstly,through the literature reading,the meaning,connotation,origin,development,foreign development status and domestic development status of STEAM education are sorted out.(2)Through the research on STEAM education concept and teaching mode,the general teaching design process based on STEAM education concept is designed.(3)Design a high school biology curriculum under the STEAM education concept based on the general teaching model and process of the STEAM education concept.(4)Apply the high school biology curriculum case under the designed STEAM education concept to the teaching practice,verify the feasibility of the course case,and propose amendments.In the course of the research,questionnaires and interviews were used to investigate and analyze the teaching results of the course case to test the feasibility and effectiveness of the course case.Through the results of student works,questionnaires,teacher interviews and classroom observations,it is proved that the STEAM high school biology curriculum designed in this paper is feasible and effective under certain teaching situations.The better teaching effect indicates the pair of the case.It is of certain positive effect to carry out effective STEAM classroom teaching and achieve the goal of STEAM education.
