Abstract/Summary:
China’s international status has been continuously improved and its comprehensive national strength has been enhanced as well.The effective development of the "Belt and Road" has played an extremely important role in the development of the Chinese language industry.The trade between Australia and China has led to an increase in the number of Australian students learning Chinese.The Australian government has developed a relevant Chinese language study program,more and more Australian students are beginning to learn Chinese.Because the personality characteristics of Australian students are very different from those of China,the traditional teaching method can’t achieve better learning effect in the classroom.So the author tries to explore the teaching effect of the game teaching method according to the characteristics of the primary school students in Western Australia.The article analyzes the characteristics,environmental background and Chinese status of the primary school students at Goldfields Baptist College.Combined with the existing research of the game teaching method,the author tries to use the teaching cases personally experienced by the author to provide some opinions on how to learn Chinese in Australia.It is recommended that this is the innovation of this article.The author starts with the four aspects of pronunciation,Chinese characters,vocabulary and grammar.It shows the cases of the classroom games which are personally experienced.And also it analyzes the application of the game teaching method in the zero-based primary school students,includes using the classroom observation,questionnaire,feedback,they can reflect the application of the game pedagogy.Finally,it summarizes the advantages and disadvantages of the game teaching method in Australia’s zero-based primary school students learning Chinese,and puts forward some suggestions for it,to make some contribution to the future teaching.
