A Comparative Study On The Training Mode Of Competitive Basketball Youth Talents Between China And Lithuania

Since the founding of new China,Chinese basketball has been developing vigorously and showing a strong development momentum in just over 60 years.However,in recent years,Chinese basketball has the poor performance in the world-class basketball games,and has a large gap with elites.There are many factors caused this phenomenon,and the unscientific cultivating mode of the competitive basketball talent of China is one of the important factors.Therefore,How to explore and improve the cultivating mode of the competitive basketball talent of China is an urgent problem to be solved.Though Lithuania is greatly behind China,it surpasses China in basketball field.The reason caused the phenomenon is a thought-provoking question.To provide some scientific references and advice for the cultivation of competitive basketball talent in the future and make some contributions to the development of Chinese basketball,in this paper,with the method of literature review,experts interview and statistics,the cultivating mode of the competitive basketball youth talent in Lithuania was deeply analyzed and researched,and the cultivating mode of the competitive basketball youth talent of China and Lithuania were compared.The results of research showed as:(1)In term of organizational form,Lithuania has public sports schools,private sports schools and clubs for its competitive basketball youth talent cultivation,and the public sports school holds the dominant position because of its abundance quantities.However,in China,the organizational unit of the competitive basketball youth talent cultivation are abundant,which has obvious structural features and shows obvious structured like “tower structure”,mainly including traditional sports schools of education department,provincial and municipal professional teams of sports department,and clubs of private enterprises.(2)In term of game organization,the competition organization in Lithuanian competitive basketball youth talent training mainly includes Lithuanian student basketball league and Lithuanian college basketball league.The competition of competitive basketball youth talents is usually held every weekend,and with the character of wide coverage,plenty of game time and abundant game session.At the same time,according to the age and ability of young players,it is divided subtly.First,it is divided into groups based on the unit of one year,and then every age groups is divided into two levels according to ability,so that teenagers with different ages and different abilities both can be honed in the suitable competition environment.While in China,there are many kinds of competitions for the training of competitive basketball youth talent,including the national youth basketball league,the national club youth basketball league,the provincial and municipal youth basketball league,the national middle school basketball league and college basketball league.Chinese students basketball league has the character of rich game types,great game scale and large schedule density and so on,but it also has some problems,such as narrow coverage(stationary teams),short game time and simple group classification(only roughly consider the difference of players).which eventually results that teenagers cannot get abundant training and accumulate experience in the basketball games matched their age and abilities,and could be injured because of tight schedule and body overload.(3)In term of the talents transport,there is a clear division of labor in terms of time and place for teenagers’ learning of cultural courses and basketball training in Lithuania.They learn cultural courses in ordinary schools during the day and practice basketball in sports schools after school in the afternoon.However,in China,due to the conflict between the time of teenagers’ learning time in school and basketball training time,the serious problem,"learning and training contradiction",accompanys with the Chinese teenagers’ basketball training all the time.Besides,in Lithuania,public funded organizational form(public sports schools)are the nucleus of youth talent transports for competitive basketball.On the contrary,in China,private organizational form(such as clubs)have gradually become the mainstay of youth talent transports for competitive basketball.
