As an important part of Chinese traditional culture,ancient poetry is undoubtedly the part with the most artistic characteristics and aesthetic value.The high school stage is the key period to improve cultural literacy and to develop aesthetic taste,so the study of ancient poetry cannot be ignored.However,because of the high literariness of implication,simplicity and deep meaning,ancient poetry has made many students shrink back and stay away from it.On the basis of studying new curriculum standards,this paper proposes strategies and methods to expand the teaching of ancient poetry in view of the current confusion in teaching and learning between teachers and students in senior high school,so as to change the teaching ideas,innovate teaching methods,stimulate students' interest in learning,and improve students' ancient poetry literacy.The introduction of this paper starts from the concept of extended teaching and proceeds to discuss the concept,theoretical basis,research background and research status.The text is divided into five chapters.The first chapter mainly focuses on the investigation and analysis of the teaching status of ancient poetry in high school.This paper takes teachers and students of a senior high school as the survey object to make data statistics,and summarizes the existing problems in current teaching from three perspectives of teaching contents,teaching methods and teaching objectives.The second chapter is aimed at the above problems to further elaborate the principles that should be followed in the teaching of ancient poetry in high school,that is,the principles of targeted,flexible innovation and individualized teaching.The third chapter is the core chapter of this paper,which specifically explores the methods to expand the teaching of ancient poetry in senior high school,including vertical and horizontal comparison method,thematic exploration method and activity stimulating method,and analyzes them step by step from classroom teaching to extracurricular activities.The fourth chapter discusses the mistakes that are easy to make in the process of extended teaching,such as"Superficiality","Off target" and "Deviation from the text".The fifth chapter is based on the analysis of teacher Yu Ying Chao's class as an example,in order to provide a reference for the specific practice of extended teaching.
