In recent years,the implementation of the policy of "withdraw points and merging schools" has changed the original rural school system of "primary schools in villages and junior middle schools in villages".Rural education resources have been re-integrated in all parts of the country.Local governments have cancelled or merged rural schools with very few students,the vast majority of rural teaching sites in China have been banned.Rebuilding a large-scale rural boarding primary school,township secondary schools have also been re-integrated,the implementation of the new entrance system in nearby towns.However,due to the poor level of economic development in poverty-stricken mountainous areas,there are differences in the topography and population distribution in some remote rural areas,and the "withdrawal of points and schools" has some negative effects on Rural Education in poverty-stricken mountainous areas.This paper takes E Township Elementary School located in the poverty-stricken mountainous area of Lvliang as the research object.Through field investigation and interview,we have a thorough understanding of the education situation before and after E Township withdrawal point merging with school,find out the problems existing in E Township withdrawal point merging with school,and put forward feasible suggestions.The research content of this paper is mainly divided into five parts:The first part is an introduction.The main contents include six aspects:research background and reasons for selecting topics,domestic and foreign research review,research purpose and significance,definition of concepts,research methods,research innovation and shortcomings;The second part is the background of rural school withdrawal and merger in poverty-stricken mountainous areas,including an overview of ruraleducation development in E township,the reasons for rural withdrawal and merger in E township,and the implementation process of the policy of rural withdrawal and merger in E township.The third part is the current situation of rural education after the merger of withdrawal points and schools,including five aspects: the distribution of schools after the merger of withdrawal points in E Township,the expansion of school scale,the change of teachers,the increase of students' distance from school,the decrease of students' number and the satisfaction survey of multi-educational groups to the present situation of withdrawal points and merger of schools;The fourth part is the analysis of the main problems and causes caused by the withdrawal of schools,including the increase in the number of dropouts,the increasing economic pressure of rural families accompanying students into the city,the difficulty in ensuring the safety of students,the difficulty in resettling private teachers,and the difficulty in adapting rural students to study in the city.The reason analysis mainly includes the "one size fits all" problem in the process of policy implementation and the region.Poor economic foundation,inadequate poverty subsidy and backward economic and educational concepts of rural families;The fifth part is the suggestions to promote the sustainable development of rural education in poverty-stricken mountainous areas;The last part is the conclusion,which summarizes the viewpoints of this paper and the expectations of rural development in poor mountainous areas.
