With the development of information technology,teaching methods and learning methods are constantly changing.Under the guidance of the concept of lifelong learning,traditional education can no longer meet people's learning needs.Therefore,online education emerges as the times require.Whether it is traditional education or online education,learners,as one of the important factors in the education system,have been deeply concerned by researchers.In traditional distance education,because of the neglect of learner differences,learners have problems such as cognitive overload and learning to lose their voyages.This problem has greatly affected the learning effect,resulting in poor learning experience and affecting the development of distance education.And online education is based on the learner-centered philosophy.The analysis of the characteristics of learners in online education will provide the possibility to improve the effectiveness of the learning process,improve the learning effect,and improve the development status of modern distance education.This study is based on the above background.In order to explore the learner characteristic system suitable for academic education under the network education,and to do a theoretical foundation work for individualized learning,this research mainly does the following work:First of all,through the literature discussion,it sorts out the research status of learner characteristics,distance learner characteristics,adult learner characteristics and related research of online education learners.And the definition of the characteristics of the network education learners involved in this paper is defined.It lays a theoretical foundation for constructing the characteristics system of network education learners and its later research.Secondly,under the guidance of the theory of adult learning and the theory of humanistic learning,this study is based on the remote learner feature model or system constructed by scholars,combined with the characteristics of online education,the student data of Jiangnan University's online education platform is used as a reference to determine the feature dimensions and characteristic indicators of the learner's feature system,and to preliminarily formulate online education and learning.The system mainly includes five characteristic dimensions: individual attributes,learning preparation,learning attitude,cognitive ability,learning style,and 63 characteristic indicators.In order to ensure the scientificity,credibility and availability of the architecture system.It is based on the previous research,prepare a questionnaire and conduct expert consultation with Delphi Method.The first round of expert consultation was scored with appropriate degree,and a total of fifteen indicators were revised.The second round of expert consultation was scored with an important degree,and a total of two indicators were revised.In the case of a consensus rate of 95.8%,it is considered that the expert consensus is reached.It is time to end the Delphi law and form a learner identity system.Finally,in order to lay the foundation for the realization of the learner's feature system,it is necessary to determine the relative weights of the learner's various feature indicators.Based on the previous research,the relative weight questionnaire was compiled.Useing Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP)to do the analysis.There were 12 experts and scholars were invited to answer and count the results.Analyzing the relative weights of each characteristic indicator with Yaahp analysis software.And sorting importance of that indicators.Thus,a system of learner characteristic index weight is formed.Combining the established learner characteristics index system to construct a complete learner feature system.At this point,the construction of the characteristics system of learners in network academic education has been completed.On this basis,this paper puts forward the prospect of implementation and application.As the foundation of network education research,this research can be used as the premise of personalized learning system research,and can also provide reference for the in-depth study of personalized learning and network education.
