The "Ordinary High School Curriculum Program(2017 Edition)" and "High School Biology Curriculum Standards(2017 Edition)" issued by the Ministry of Education noted that high school biology course should focus on the new progress of life sciences.It can be observed that the state attach importance to the cutting-edge development in the field of teaching.Frontiers of biology subject should be adopted in the process of teaching.That may contribute to the cultivation of students' core competencies and values,and will stimulate students' interest and desire for scientific research in the future.This paper mainly analyzes the concept of the frontiers of biology and the theoretical basis of the integration of the frontiers of the disciplines through the document research method,questionnaire survey method and the interview method.Through the questionnaires compiled,the status qua of the frontier integration of high school biology teaching was investigated,and the results of the survey were analysed and discussed.Firstly,through the issuance of teacher questionnaires and student questionnaires,high school biology teachers and high school students in the five districts of Yantai City were investigated.The questionnaires were collected and statistically analyzed,and the current knowledge of biological frontiers was found in teaching.There are the following problems in the integration:(1)Teachers have problems in acquiring the cutting-edge knowledge in the integration of teaching;(2)The principles and methods of teachers' integration of cutting-edge knowledge are not clear;(3)There is no effective use of biological frontier knowledge in teacher teaching;(4)Some teachers are not clear about the degree of integration of biological frontier knowledge in teaching.Solutions to the problems:(1)making full use of various ways to acquire cutting-edge knowledge;(2)clarifying the principles and methods of integrating cutting-edge knowledge into teaching;(3)exerting the educational valu e of cutting-edge knowledge,combining multiple Teaching methods promote student development;(4)Teachers must accurately grasp the goal of teaching.Secondly,some principles and strategies of integrating the frontiers of biology are put forward,and combined with specific cases to illustrate.The principles of integrating the frontier knowledge of biology mainly include:(1)Scientific principle;(2)Suitable principle;(3)Relevance principle;(4)Educational principle.In terms of the proposed strategy,it is mainly analyzed from four aspects of classroom introduction,exploration of new knowledge,expansion of textbook content,and material as an exercise.Besides,it also discusses the teaching effect that will be produced after the integration of the frontier knowledge of the subject of teaching.Then,based on the principle and strategy of rationally integrating cutting-edge knowledge in the proposed teaching,in order to make the results of this research more practical,we designed a teaching case that incorporates the frontier knowledge of biology.At the same time,in order to make this study more convincing,experts were invited to evaluate the curriculum designed by the institute.Finally,the conclusions of this study are summarized and the deficiencies in this study are reflected.In short,the integration of cutting-edge knowledge in teaching has a positive effect on the improvement of students' core literacy,and also plays a certain role in promoting the supplementary teaching resources and the improvement of teachers' professional skills.
