The frontier knowledge of life sciences includes the three dimensions of scientific knowledge,scientific processes and methods,and STS.By fully tapping the connotation of frontier knowledge,students' core literacy is promoted in an all-round way.The introduction of scientific frontiers can show the related work of biological research and provide assistance for individual study and career planning.First,by interpreting the requirements of the new curriculum standards for the frontier knowledge of life sciences,and analyzing the relevant content of the frontier knowledge in the high school examination papers in the past five years,the necessity of combining the frontiers of science with high school biology teaching to develop core literacy of students is explained.Sorting out and analyzing the frontier knowledge of life sciences required by the human textbooks of ordinary senior high school biology textbooks,deeply digging into the educational value of frontiers of science,and fully applying the material resources of textbooks to education and teaching practice.Second,this study summarizes the sources and approaches of the frontier knowledge of life sciences,summarizes and statistics the awards in the life sciences field of the Nobel Prize in Physiology and Chemistry from 2005 to 2018,and the top ten sciences of the year selected by the United States Science The breakthrough provides materials for the application of cutting-edge knowledge of life sciences in biology teaching in high school,which is conducive to the updating of teaching content.Taking the compulsory part of the senior high school biology textbook for human education as an example,the frontier knowledge of life sciences is integrated with high school biology teaching from a knowledge level.Finally,according to the requirements of the new curriculum standards for cutting-edge knowledge,the teaching case of the combination of frontier science and high school biology teaching is analyzed,and the application principles of frontier life science knowledge in high school biology teaching are summarized: scientific and educational principle,relevance and effectiveness principle,moderation and quantitative principle,timeliness and openness principle,subjectivity and hierarchy principle.According to the significance and role of frontier science applied to biology teaching in high school,the application strategies of frontier science are summarized: it is used for introduction of new lessons,exploration of new knowledge,extracurricular extension,extracurricular extensions,exercise background,special lectures,second class,research learning,elective courses,and design of corresponding teaching fragments.According to the requirements of the new curriculum standard for the frontier knowledge of life sciences,the conventional courses "Relationship between Gene Expression and Traits" and "Human Genetic Diseases" and the extended course "From SARS to NCP—Understanding Infectious Diseases" are taken as examples to design The frontier knowledge of life science is comprehensively applied to the teaching case of the compulsory part of senior high school biology,which provides a reference for front-line teachers.
