The second class refers to educational related activities carried out outside the classroom teaching plan.Compared with classroom teaching,the second class has the characteristics of complementarity,practicality,flexibility and cooperation.With the continuous improvement of the degree of educational informationization,the second class of biology in Junior Middle school is no longer confined to the traditional form of activity with post-class inquiry and community activities as the main body.Making full use of information technology to provide multi-channel access to knowledge,storage of information and the use of WeChat platform,QQ platform and other network platform to express their own opportunities,the second class helps to promote deep-seated learning,and ultimately to cultivate students ' innovative spirit,improve students ' learning ability and comprehensive quality purposes.By using the literature method,this paper summarizes the research status of the second class in biology at home and abroad,and expounds the concept of the second class of biology,the characteristics of the second class of biology,the advantages and theoretical basis of developing the second class of biology under the background of informationization.By means of questionnaire survey and interview,the form and content of the second class of biology in 5 urban and rural middle schools,the attitude of teachers and students to participate in the second class of biology,the application of information platform in the second class of biology and the effect of the second class of biology are investigated,and the results show that the implementation of the second class in biology is not optimistic.Such as the support of some schools is not enough,the biology teachers themselves are not motivated,most students have no interest,the information platform is not fully utilized,the evaluation mechanism is not perfect,and the content and form of the second class activities of biology under the background of informationization are lacking in innovation.In view of the problems found,put forward relevant strategies and suggestions,such as strengthening the school's support for the second class of biology,establishing teacher incentive mechanism,strengthening communication between teachers in different schools,making common progress,perfecting the function of information platform,strengthening communication with parents,perfecting evaluation mechanism,motivating students to participate in enthusiasm and initiative;Try to develop a virtual simulation platform,constantly innovate the form and content of biology second class,increase the attractiveness of biology second class,and so on.Finally,a biological extracurricular research study activity in Yantai Ten and a Winter Vacation Biology inquiry experiment in Laiyang Experimental Middle school were followed up.Taking these two second classes of biology as an example,this shows the concrete implementation steps and successful experiences of carrying out the second class of biology under the background of informationization,in order to provide reference or reference for other schools,other classes and other courses to carry out the second class activities.
