Demand analysis refers to the technology and method of studying demand through introspection,interview,observation and questionnaire in the process of curriculum design and implementation.Through the investigation,collection and analysis of learners'subjective and objective needs,what and how to learn will be determined.The ultimate goal is to find out the gap between learners'current language use ability,professional knowledge level and their expected level,and find out the gap between teachers' teaching and students'learning,so as to provide reference basis for teachers and schools' teaching needs.This paper with the aid of guangxi university of undergraduate students in middle school internship to Thailand,relying on the platform of Suphan Confucius Institute of guangxi university in Thailand,locates the object of this study at the native Chinese learners(excluding Chinese schools)in Suphan,Thailand,who have the same language background from the grade one of the junior high school to the grade three of senior high school.According to Hutchinson and Waters'needs analysis theory and the four elements of the hueyyuan Yang's classroom teaching theory,the author designed the questionnaire on Chinese learning needs of middle school students in Supan,Thailand,then the investigation and analysis are carried out by supplementary interview method and contrast method.The results of the survey introduced the needs of Thai students in aspects of learning objectives,learning methods,learning contents,teaching methods and classroom environment;it is found that the students in this region have obvious needs in Chinese culture,video materials,improvement of their listening and speaking skills,teachers'characteristics,especially Thai level,it is also found that the current teaching materials,cultural activities,Chinese characters and grammar teaching volume and students'needs are contradictory.Based on the comparative thinking between the results of demand analysis and the current teaching situation of middle schools in Suphan,Thailand,the author puts forward relevant Suggestions from the perspective of teachers and schools,and points out that Chinese teaching in Thailand should be adapted to the Chinese learning needs of local students.This paper is divided into five parts.The introduction is the first part,which mainly introduces the background of this paper,the research summary of relevant theories,the selection of research objects and the design of research content,as well as the research methods and significance.First chapter is the second part,the author designs and conducts a survey on the selected research objects based on the local conditions and relevant theories,and introduces from implementation of the questionnaire to the statistics of the final data.Focusing on chapter two and chapter three,this paper makes a profound and detailed analysis of learners'Chinese learning status and needs,through a deep and detailed analysis of learners,Chinese learning status and needs,it is found that these learners'learning needs have some characteristics and similarities;the author puts forward some suggestions on the teaching of Chinese,which will be explained in detail in the body part.Fifth part is the conclusion,reviewing and summarizing the defects and deficiencies of this study,and putting forward the research prospect.
