The promotion of online games needs to rely on the operation of third-party platforms to accumulate more game users.Third-party platforms can make use of the cooperation with game vendors to bring more profits and income for the platform itself.In today's online game marketing process,the online video platform has become a new channel different from the traditional game platform.More and more online video platforms have set up game centers in the platform and become a new distribution channel for games.For example,Tencent,Iqiyi,Mango tv and other video-based Internet new media platforms have launched online game services one after another,mainly including hand tours and page tours.However,in terms of quantity and quality,the game marketing of video platform is still in the exploratory stage.At present,there is very little research on the marketing of online video platform game centers.This paper will take the current domestic online video platform game centers as the object,analyze the current general situation and main marketing strategies of such platform games,and analyze and study the problems existing in the dissemination and marketing of online games through the Internet third-party platform channels.And summarize the main forms of game marketing activities.In order to explore how to effectively promote and market the games on the platform and increase the viscosity of game users,this paper also includes the case of game marketing in the game center of the network video platform(mainly taking company z as an example).it is found that there are still many difficulties and problems that users are difficult to retain and convert into profits in the dissemination,promotion and marketing of games on this platform.Based on the theories of communication studies,this paper finally tries to give some suggestions for the online video platform game center to form an effective and feasible game marketing strategy for reference.
