Teachers are often referred to as engineers of the human soul,but also as communicators and inheritors of social and cultural knowledge and civilization.With the acceleration of the modernization of society and the continuous popularization of pre-school education,the community has paid more and more attention to this group of kindergarten teachers.Thanks to the acceleration of the pace of life and the improvement of the level of science and technology,the mass media has gradually become an important channel for people to obtain information.The media's coverage of the kindergarten teachers constitutes the media image of the kindergarten teachers.These media images are easily recognized by people as reality.Therefore,this study is particularly important.This paper selects the relevant reports of Sina.com from 2016 to 2018 as the research object,and analyzes what kind of media image of the kindergarten teacher is constructed by the mass media and the public's social cognition of the kindergarten teachers,and discusses the deviation between the two.These deviations reflect the construction strategy of the media image of the kindergarten teacher.Through the analysis of content analysis and discourse feature analysis,it is found that the media tends to have neutral and negative reports when constructing the image of kindergarten teachers,and the negative reports are far more than the positive reports.On the subject of the report,the various topics reported by the kindergarten teachers are more comprehensive,but the media has set the most frequent issues of illicit punishment,child abuse and other misconduct,and the kindergarten teachers' participation in shaping their own media image is not high.The mass media has mainly shaped the media image of five kindergarten teachers,namely,the “gardeners” who love their jobs,the “violent madness” who abuses children,the gender imbalance group,the practitioners under government and society,and the participants in social life.Through the questionnaire survey,it is found that the public's actual cognition of the kindergarten teachers group is mainly positive,and the tendency of the topic of the report is also greatly deviated from the media.According to the above research results,the author explores the ways to reconstruct the media image of kindergarten teachers from the four levels of communication process construction,in order to construct the media image of kindergarten teachers accurately and accurately.
