In 2017,the report of the Nineteenth National Congress mentioned that priority should be given to the development of education and efforts should be made to build a strong country in education.Accordingly,the highly concerned"Ideological and Political Curriculum Standards for Ordinary High Schools" was promulgated.The Standard of Ideological and Political Course in Ordinary High School defines high school ideological and political course as an activity-based course to develop students’core discipline literacy.In the teaching tips of relevant course contents,the teaching topics and social practice activities proposed in this course are clearly defined.This requires teachers to pay more attention to the cultivation of students’thinking ability and inquiry ability in teaching,pay more attention to students’social practice,pay more attention to obtaining knowledge from practice,and sublimate emotions from the process.Topic-based teaching method is a specific teaching method which combines learning and practice,knowledge and literacy closely.It is conducive to cultivating students’learning ability,improving teachers’teaching ability and realizing the core literacy of political subjects.Therefore,the topic teaching has a long way to go.This paper focuses on the current situation of the application of the topic-based teaching method in the ideological and political course of senior high school,combines the existing theoretical knowledge and teaching experience,makes some research and Analysis on the definition of the concept of the topic-based teaching,the difficulties faced by the teaching and the causes,and summarizes the implementation strategies conducive to achieving the goal of the ideological and political course,and puts forward some suggestions for improving the teaching method of the ideological and Political Course And suggestions.Specifically,this paper consists of three parts:The first part introduces the importance of applying topic-based teaching method in senior high school political teachers’teaching.Firstly,this paper combs the background of topic-based teaching,defines the concept of topic-based teaching method,and clarifies the connotation of topic-based teaching method.Then,the characteristics of topic-based teaching are summarized from four aspects:teaching objectives,teaching content,teaching process and teaching evaluation.Finally,the significance of the implementation of topic-based teaching is summarized.It is believed that the topic-based teaching method can improve teachers’teaching professional ability,learners’learning and thinking ability,and enhance the effectiveness of high school ideological and political lessons.The second part,combined with the teaching practice and feelings of other teachers,makes a detailed analysis of the difficulties and reasons faced by the topic-based teaching method from the aspects of teaching subject,teaching object,teaching resources and teaching evaluation,and inspires teachers to think about how to solve the difficulties and achieve the teaching objectives of political subjects.In the third part,based on the analysis of the difficulties and causes of topic-based teaching,and referring to the cases of teaching and listening,the author puts forward strategies for the implementation of topic-based teaching from the four links of topic determination,teaching activities development,social practice activities supplement and teaching evaluation.Identify appropriate topics,seize the,"core" of the classroom;design a series of teaching activities to cultivate students’sense of active participation;carry out social practice activities to improve students’ comprehensive quality;pay attention to students’process and results,and evaluate students’ abilities comprehensively.
