Humility behavior is one of the pro-social behaviors of young children and an important way to promote the good interaction between young children and others.Cultivating young children’s humility behavior in game activities with less adult intervention and high autonomy of young children is helpful to the localization of children’s humility behavior and promote the socialization process of young children.The researchers selected a total of 33 young children in a kindergarten class in Wuhan City as the object of observation,through the use of self-made "large class children in the game Humility Behavior Observation record table"to observe the humility behavior of young children in the game situation,focusing on the number of children in the game humility behavior,humility of the gender,humility object,The motivation of humility behavior,the level of willingness of the humble,the type of game and the game link produced by the humility behavior,the content of the subject of humility behavior,the expression of humility behavior,the result of humility behavior,the feedback of humility object,the teacher’s response to the humility behavior of young children and so on.Through observation and analysis,it is found that the humility behavior of large class children in the game situation shows the following characteristics:(1)The humility behavior of young children is more present in the construction of the game;(2)The humility behavior of young children mainly arises in the course of the game;(3)The motivation of young children’s humility behavior is mainly non-utilitarian;(4)The level of willingness of young children’s humility behavior is mainly coordinated;(5)The theme content of the humility behavior of young children is mainly toy humility;(6)The humility initiated by girls is significantly greater than that initiated by boys;(7)The humility of young children occurs mainly between same-sex peers with closer relationship;(8)The expression of humility behavior of young children is mainly non-verbal;(9)The result of humility behavior of young children is to solve the matter smoothly,humility is the main satisfaction of both sides;(10)The feedback received by young children’s humility behavior is mainly neutral feedback.At the same time,the researchers also conducted a self-made interview outline,interviews with young children,teachers and parents,in order to deeply analyze the specific factors affecting the performance of children’s humility behavior in the game,through interview records and analysis to find the factors affecting the performance of young children’s humility behavior are as follows:(1)Young children’s own factors,including the gender and character of young children,the positive psychological needs of young children,the level of development of children’s empathy ability,(2)game factors,including the game’s venue,game Materials,(3)teacher factors,including teacher guidance and demonstration,teacher expectations and evaluation,(4)Parental factors,Including the parenting style of parents,the concept of humility of parents,(5)peer factors,including peer evaluation,peer relationship.According to the expression of children’s humility behavior in this study and the factors affecting the humility behavior of young children,combined with the age characteristics of young children in large classes,the researchers put forward the following suggestions to promote the development of children’s humility behavior in the game situation:(1)Creating a game environment conducive to humility;(2)improving the level of empathy ability of young children;and(3)focusing on indi’vidual differences between young children(4)Giving appropriate positive feedback to young children.Finally,the researchers reflected on some problems that might exist in this study. |
