Tolerance is the eternal theme pursued by mankind,and the educational scene is no exception.Education tolerance requires primary and middle school teachers to take a tolerant attitude towards the differences among students,to face up to the shortcomings of students,to allow students to express their aspirations and ideas,and to provide conditions for students' individualized and comprehensive development.However,in the current educational practice process,the implementation status of educational tolerance is not satisfactory.There are weak awareness of tolerance among teachers,low tolerance ability,lack of inclusiveness to the shortcomings of students,the gap of educational tolerance ability between urban and rural teachers is large and so on.The lack of tolerance factors in the process of education and teaching leads to the suppression of the development of students'personality and creativity,which hinders the healthy and comprehensive growth of students.Therefore,this paper takes the status quo of education tolerance as the starting point,and through the questionnaire survey of nearly 300 teachers in 6 primary and middle schools in Jiangsu Province,supplemented by the necessary participatory observations and non-structural interviews,reveals the intolerance in education.At the internal and external levels,the reasons for the existence of intolerance are analyzed.Finally,it makes reasonable suggestions on the cultivation of teacher education tolerance.This article is divided into five parts.The first part is the introduction,including the origin of the problem research,the related research at home and abroad,the purpose and significance of the research,the research ideas and methods.The second part is the characteristics of educational tolerance.The characteristics of educational tolerance are summarized as harmony,comprehensiveness,education and development,in order to explain the significance of educational tolerance to the growth of students.The third part is the analysis of the investigation and research.Through the data analysis of the questionnaire survey results and the data analysis of the interview survey,it reveals five problems existing in the implementation of education tolerance.The teacher's tolerance is not strong and the teacher's tolerance is not high.There is a gap between the gap between urban and rural teachers'tolerance.Teachers with different educational backgrounds have different tolerance and the implementation of teacher's educational tolerance is restricted by the external environment.The fourth part analyzes the reasons for the problems existing in the implementation of educational tolerance.The fifth part is based on the analysis of the current situation of education tolerance and its causes,from the four aspects of reforming traditional educational concepts,creating a tolerant ecological environment,mastering the methods of tolerance for education,and strengthening targeted training for teachers' tolerance,this paper proposes solutions.
