APOS Theory is the theory of mathematics concept teaching proposed by the American educator Dubinsky,which is processed on the basis of Piaget’s constructivism learning theory.On the basis of studying the development of APOS theory and function teaching,this paper intends to apply APOS theory to the concept teaching of junior middle school function in order to explore a more effective teaching mode of function concept.Below,the author divides the research of the thesis into six parts.The first part mainly introduces the background content and methods of the research,and points out how to use the APOS theory to guide the concept teaching of junior middle school functions.The second part mainly introduces the research of APOS theory.From APOS theory,APOS theory model,the characteristics of APOS theory,research status about APOS theory at home and abroad and the problems of APOS theory in the concept of teaching the five aspects in detail the APOS theory,the four stages of APOS theory,namely"action-process-object-scheme".The third part introduces the teaching research of junior middle school function.From the historical development of functions,the importance of functions in junior middle school teaching and the current situation of junior middle school function teaching and learning are analyzed,which emphasizes the importance and difficulty of junior high school function teaching.The fourth part combines APOS theory with junior high school function concept teaching,and applies APOS theory to variable and function and direct proportion function concept teaching with action research.The fifth part summarizes three advantages of APOS theory on the basis of action research.The sixth part mainly introduces the enlightenment of APOS theory to the concept teaching of junior middle school,and explains the shortcomings of the research.
