The pole vault is one of the most technically complex events in track and field,requiring a high-speed run-up to generate kinetic energy that allows the body to leap over the bar.The current Chinese men's pole vault record of 5.82m is set by xue changrui at the 2016 world athletics championships in London.As of November 30,2017,the world record for the men's pole vault was 6.16m,34cm higher than that of China.The approach of pole vault is the source of power of pole vault.In order to better study Xue Changrui's run-up and take-off technique,this paper makes kinematic analysis last three steps of Xue's approach and his take-off technique.This paper adopts the method of literature review,expert survey,video analysis,mathematical statistics and other methods.by means of the video analysis system developed jointly by Beijing sport university,using the means of sports biomechanics analysis for video resolution.This paper conducts a comprehensive analysis on our country's pole vaulter Xue Changrui run-up and take-off technology,finding out the characteristics of Xue Changrui in run-up in the link of the last three steps and takeoff technique,providing a scientific reference in order to further improve these two techniques.Through the study of Xue's technique of run-up and take-off,the following conclusions are drawn:(1)the time of Xue's last three run-up are stable,and the run-up speed is decreasing.(2)the distance between Xue's handhold point and the starting point,and the push speed of both hands are reasonable.(3)Xue's take-off time is fast,and his instantaneous take-off speed is fast.(4)Xue has the largest angle difference,the best quality and effect of take-off,and gets the most kinetic energy from the run-up.(5)when taking off from the ground,the take-off action is fully in place.
