The Research On The Set-up Of 3D Motion Analysis System And Mechanical Energy Calculation In Pole Vault

Purposes: Try to build a biomechanical research platform for three-dimensional(3-D)motion analysis of pole vault,and explore the feasibility of 3-D motion capture system in the study of pole vault;using 3-D motion capture system to collect data,designing and write mechanical energy calculation program based on the collected data structure to achieve the energy calculation during the pole vault movement.Method: According to the needs of 3-D motion analysis of pole vault,explore the method of the platform set-up strategy.After completing the set-up of the motion analysis platform,collect data by the platform and import the data into the biomechanical analysis software for verification.On the basis of pole vault energy transforming theory,program to calculate the energy by Python.Through the programming,read,calculate and visualize the data,compare the results with the literature to verify.Result: The platform with Qualisys 3-D infrared capture system and the Kistler force plates capturing the pole vault movement is successful,and the data collected by them could imported in the motion analysis software to build the model;the comparison with the energy curve in the literature proves that the energy calculation of the collected data is reliable for the pole vault movement,which could analysis the energy transformation during pole vault.Conclusion: The study has explored the method of 3-D motion analysis of pole vault,and proposed a feasible method to set-up all the devices which could be referred by related research.In addition,this study has developed a software to calculate the mechanical energy during pole vault based on the data collected by this method.The results are reliable and could have positive influence on the movement diagnosis for coaches.
