| The 2022 Winter Olympic Games,jointly organized by Beijing and Zhangjiakou,is about to come.At that time,this ice and snow feast is not only a higher competition for athletes from all over the world,but also a contest between the mass media.As the exclusive national-wide sports newspaper in China,"China Sports News" is responsible for conveying the information of the game to readers in a comprehensive,multi-dimensional manner.Under this background,this article aims to explore the contents and form of "China Sports News" based on framework theory.The overall trend of the report of the Winter Olympics is analyzed in this research,and the differences of reporting characteristics at different stages are also analyzed to figure out the reasons for the differences,and this research tries to provide suggestions for future reporting models.This study takes the full text of the report of the 5th Winter Olympic Games of China Sports Daily as a sample,supported by the framework theory,and examines the text through the literature review,content analysis and text analysis.This study comes to several conclusions as follows: 1."China Sports News" has a strong awareness of branding,it achieves innovation from aspects of layouts,columns,pictures and sources integration.2.The theme to "China Sports News" presents a diversified,localized and one-sided framework;the perspective of civilians is prefered as time goes by;and it focus on the national-related news too much and lacks an international perspective.3.The "China Sports News" has a rigorous structural framework,focusing on the dissemination of game information and the digging of deep stories.4.For the discourse style,the medal/score discourse of "China Sports News" is weakened in the new century,the humanistic care is highlighted,the narrative perspective is more objective,and the language style is fresh and interesting.There are three main reasons for these changes in characteristics of the China Sports News : economic factors,the political nature and market demands.In summary,this study puts forward the following suggestions for the future Winter Olympics report of China Sports News: 1.Establish brand awareness,adhere to the concept of“non-confrontal competition”,and build a new model for integrating media sources.2.Improve the overall quality of employees.3.Strengthen international horizons,broaden the coverage of the winter Olympics news reports,and expand the entertainment and leisure reports of winter sports.4.Based on its own advantages and characteristics,in-depth reports should be strengthen to emphasize the sportsmanship and humanistic care behind the report. |
