Reading is a kind of activity for readers to improve themselves,and the acquisition of students' knowledge and information is also the source of this.Understanding is a basic ability that we need in our lives,such as the change in the color of the signal light,the change in the face and expression of people,and the change in the tone and tone of our voices.Understanding helps promote peaceful exchanges between peoples,nations and cultures.The ability of historical reading comprehension is a kind of ability of acceptance and understanding for historical reading.It is the foundation of all kinds of learning ability and plays an important role in people's lifelong learning.The improvement of reading comprehension ability in the history of high school is the foundation of learning the subject,which conforms to the needs of the development of modern times.It also fits with the new currculum and the requirement for high school historical discipline core competencies and the needs of developing their reading comprehension ability.Based on the related theories,this paper will do some research on reading comprehension in high school online,and combine the limited reading experience and classroom observation.First,the author summarizes the current status of related research at home and abroad,expounds the related concepts of historical reading comprehension ability and the core competencies of historical discipline by means of literature,and probes into the relationship between them.Then,the current situation of reading comprehension in high school is analyzed,and the factors affecting it are summarized in combination with the experience in teaching,and corresponding measures are put forward.Based on the core competencies of the subject,it points out four principles to help students improve their historical reading comprehension ability.Finally,based on the core competencies of the historical discipline,combined with specific cases,the students of different levels of core competencies are presented with corresponding methods for the cultivation of historical reading comprehension ability.
