The optimization of office management functions in Colleges and universities in China is facing many challenges.Because the theoretical definition of the connotation of office management functions in Colleges and universities is not clear,there are some problems to be solved in the aspects of management concept and mode,management system and system,management hardware and equipment,personnel quality and ability.This paper taking the office of Bozhou university,a local university in Anhui Province,as an example,proposes specific ways,ideas and improvement methods to optimize the office management functions of colleges and universities in the new form.The university office is the central organization of the university management system,the staff and assistant of the school leadership,the bridge of communicating the party and government,the link of contacting the masses,and the command and execution system of the school management work.Its management functions mainly include service function,coordination function,supervision function and staff function.There are many problems in the office management function of Bozhou university,which are mainly manifested in the insufficient exertion of the four functions,the low degree of specialization of the management team,the narrow channels of promotion,the inadequate modernization of working methods,the low level of information technology and the inadequate system construction.The main reasons for these problems are:lack of talent,lack of system and poor mechanism.The office management function of higher education is facing a new situation,that is,the transition of higher education from the popularization stage to the popularization stage,the "Internet"+,cloud computing,the deep integration of big data and higher education in the information age,which promotes the profound changes in the management mode and personnel training of higher education.Under this new situation,the functions of office management in Colleges and universities should be continuously optimized,in line with the modernization of university governance system and governance capacity,and be transformed into modern university management functions,changing service concepts,implementing the whole process of educating people,and building a learning office.According to the new situation,new requirements and new mission,the optimization of office management functions of Bozhou university should be carried out through the following ways:strengthening the professional construction of management team,making full use of modern information technology,adopting various advanced management methods,optimizing service functions,coordinating professions,staff functions and supervisory functions,further rationalizing working mechanism,improving management level and service.Schools are developing rapidly.
