With the development of education internationalization,the exchanges between countries are on the rise,and China becomes the largest export country of education.The development of education career has trained a large number of professionals for our country,which also provide new challenges and new chances for the development of ideological and political education.Due to the particularity of the Chinese overseas students,their thoughts and behaviors can be easily impacted by multicultural environment,and they may produce cross-cultural adaptation problems as well,shaking their original values and behavioral habits.In addition,Chinese overseas students bear a unique mission,which play a vital role in establishing nation image and spreading Chinese cultures.Therefore,for the sake of the personal development of overseas students and the interests of our nation,it is significant to strengthen overseas students ideological and political education.However,due to the limitation of time and space,Chinese overseas students are abroad,which is disadvantage to carry out the work of their ideological and political education.In order to reverse the weak effectiveness situation of overseas students ideological and political education,it is necessary to explore new approaches in context and methods.Focusing on the topic of transcultural ideological and political education of Chinese overseas students,the paper discusses and studies from five aspects.The first chapter is introduction,discussing the background and research significance of this topic.Then,this part summarizes the research status of this topic from different perspectives,in domestic research,it covers a wide range,while in overseas research,it mainly relies on transcultural education for overseas students and cross-cultural adaptation theory.In second chapter,the paper elaborates the concepts of basic objects and ranges.The third chapter provides premise in theory and practice,with the help of cross-cultural adaptation theory and national identity theory,many people can understand the cross-cultural adaptation problems of overseas students better,which is benefit to enrich the content of overseas students ideological and political education.In the fourth chapter,the paper analyzes the main problems and influence factors of overseas students ideological and political education,discussing the influence factors in terms of subjects,objects,mediators and environment.Based on the previous research results,the fifth chapter discusses the importance of overseas students ideological and political education,puts forward ideological and political education content that accords with overseas students,which includes education in ideals and beliefs,education in patriotism,education in study-abroad safety and education in multi-culture,and constantly innovate from methods,for the purpose of proceeding the work of overseas students ideological and political education.In a word,the work of overseas students ideological and political education needs to be explored,and gradually optimized in practice.Overseas students ideological and political education should adhere to the problem-oriented,take the students' demand as the starting point and ending point,take patriotism education as the core,improving the cross-cultural adaptability of Chinese overseas students,strengthening their sense of national identity and the culture of self-confidence,thus realize ideological and political education effect optimization.
