Research On The Influence Of Mobile APP On The Cross-cultural Adaptability Of Overseas Students From Overseas Chinese University

With the scientific progress and development of times,more and more students from Hong Kong,Macao and Taiwan,overseas Chinese students and international students come to Jinan University and Huaqiao University for their education.We are in an era of internet development and the popularity of intelligent devices,and almost all the international students can obt ain the information about their campus life via internet,thereby the mobile app becomes indispensable when they go out.Taking the overseas students as the research object,this paper studies the use of mobile app by the overseas students and analyzes the relevance between the use of mobile app and crosscultural adaptation,and explores the influence on the overseas students’ crosscultural adaptation made by the mobile app.This study adopts the method of questio nnaire survey,and questionnaires were distributed to the overseas students from Jinan University and Huaqiao University to survey on the usage,satisfaction,and loyalty of mobile app,as well as the social network adaptation,social cultural adaptation,and study mode adaptation.The research data are statistically analyzed by the software of SPSS.The following conclusion are reached: the usage,satisfaction and loyalty of the overseas students’ use of mobile app has positive influence on cross-cultural adaptation;the satisfaction and loyalty of the overseas students’ use of mobile app has positive influence on social cultural adaptation while the usage of mobile app does not have influence on social cultural adaptation;the usage and loyalty of the overseas students’ use of mobile app has positive influence on the study mode adaptation while the satisfaction does not have influence on the study mode adaptation.The above conclusion shows that although the use of mobile APP does not bring obvious changes to the overseas students’ cross-cultural adaptation,it helps with their cross-cultural adaptation in the universities to a certain extent.
