High School Geography Contouring Teaching Research Based On AR Sandbox

With the development of moderm geography education,its requirements for information technology teaching are getting more professional.The newly revised high school geography curriculum standard points out the virtual reality technology,augmented reality technology and other new technologies should be applied to the geography classroom and make the complicated content of learning realistic,vivid,three-dimensional.Its application contributes’to construct open and efficient geography classroom to cultivate students’core of geographic literacy and promote the comprehensive development of students.AR sandbox is a new geography teaching tool developed on the basis of augmented reality technology,which has intuitive and vivid features,and powerful interactive functions,so that students can get real-time feedback.The article is devoted to explore the application of AR sandbox in high school contouring teaching based on the requirements of the new curriculum standards,characteristics of students’ physical and mental development and related theories.By analyzing the demand of AR sandbox in the modem middle school geography classroom,and interviewing teachers and students,we can understand the current status of AR sandbox in high school geography teaching as well as the geographical learning of senior high school students,and then the application of AR sandbox will be the scientific basis of contour teaching in high school.According to the characteristics of contour line learning and AR sandbox’s classroom,the paper attempts to put forward the application principles and strategies of AR sandbox in geography classroom teaching.Finally,based on the previous analysis,the teaching cases of AR sandbox were designed and implemented,the teaching was rethought,and the conclusion was drawn for later reference.
