This study takes the learning effect of university basketball general course students as the research object,two natura classes of 2016 education major in education university of Beijing Sport University were taken as experimental subjects.This paper carries out an experimental study on the implementation of flipped classroom teaching in university basketball general courses.This paper aims to explore whether flipped classroom teaching in college basketball general courses has advantages or disadvantages over traditional classes in terms of students’ physical quality,special skills,physical exercise attitude and teaching evaluation,so as to better serve physical education.This paper uses experimental method,mathematical statistics method,questionnaire survey method,interview method and literature method to research.Through the teaching experiment method,a teaching comparison experiment of 32 class hours in total for 8 weeks was carried out.The unified syllabus and teaching schedule were adopted for teaching,and the physical quality,special skills,physical exercise attitude and students’ evaluation of teaching of the two classes were compared,so as to verify the learning effect of flipped classroom in university basketball general courses.The statistical analysis of the experimental results of the two classes was carried out by means of mathematical statistics,that is,the significance difference test.The questionnaire survey method was used to solve the quantitative analysis of the attitude of physical exercise and education evaluation of the two classes.Interview method is used to solve the problems of students’ subjective feelings about flipped classroom and conduct qualitative research.This paper summarizes and comments on the research background and the status quo of predecessors by using the method of literature review.After experiments,the following results are obtained:1.Flipped classroom has no significant difference from traditional classroom in improving physical quality in university basketball general courses;2.Flipped classroom is signicantly different from traditional classroom in improving students’ special skills in university basketball general courses;3.Flipped classroom has a positive impact on students’ attitude towards physical exercise in university basketball general courses;4.Students’ evaluation of flipped classroom in university basketball general courses is better than that in traditional classes.This study draws the following conclusions:1.With the development of Internet and communication technology,combined with the characteristics of sports disciplines and the independent learning ability of university students,flipped classroom can be implemented in university basketball general courses.2.Through the comparison between flipped classroom teaching and traditional classroom in university basketball general courses,it is concluded that students who adopt flipped classrooms teaching are superior to traditional classroom experimental results in special skills,attitudes to physical exercise and teaching evaluation.3.Although flipped classroom is better than traditional classroom in teaching effect,it does not mean that flipped classroom can replace traditional classroom.According to the teaching purpose and students’ actual needs,the two should be integrated selectively so as to better serve physical education.
