Bike-sharing can be a very effective tool for sustainable mobility in the urban areas of Bangladesh because currently,sustainable transportation is a crying need in this country.This study aims to assess the behavioral intention of female citizens toward bike-sharing as an environment-friendly mode of travel.Moreover,based on the Theory of Planned Behavior(TPB),this study emphasizes to investigate the impact of collectivism and religiosity on female citizens behavioral intention.A survey of 277 female citizens was conducted in a city of Comilla in Bangladesh for data and to test the proposed model.Structural equation modeling(SEM)was used to analyze in this study.The findings pointed out that attitude,subjective norm,and perceived behavioral control have a significant positive impact on women's intention toward bike-sharing.However,the study also found that collectivism has a direct negative impact on females' attitude and perceived behavioral control in terms of bike-sharing.Moreover,the negative influences of religiosity were found on women's intention.Also,religiosity negatively moderates the subjective norms and behavioral intention relationship.
