On the basis of reviewing the relevant literature at home and abroa d,this study records and evaluates the problems of three students in the Depar tment of Intellectual Education of H Special Education School by means of in vestigation,observation and interview.Firstly,in the data collection stage,it is found that the behavior problems of the three students are mainly manifested in four aspects,including fixed behavior,self-injury behavior,aggressive behav ior and inappropriate social behavior.Through the Behavior Motivation Scale,we know that the main reasons f or these four kinds of behaviors which come from three students are evasion,self-stimulation and acquisition of substantive things.At the same time,through the reinforcement questionnaire,we know that the favorite reinforcements of th ese three students are consumer reinforcements and active reinforcements.Secon dly,based on the results of investigation,observation,interview and evaluation,corrective intervention was implemented on their problematic behavior.In the process of correcting,it is found that the problematic behaviors of individual cases are very unstable,and their behavior problems are easily affect ed by the environment.By means of alternative reinforcement,incompatible rein forcement,negative reinforcement and Premark,the problematic behaviors of th e three students were all reduced.Finally,the effect of individualized treatment on behavioral correction of mental retardation students was discussed.In the cou rse of correcting,we find that there is a complex relationship between the pro blems of individual cases.By adjusting the classroom environment,curriculum a nd teaching,we can make the corrective environment in a controllable range.Ind ividual Case study is an important research method to deeply understand the pr oblem behaviors of special students.We should formulate multiple behavior corr ection programs for special students based on the evaluation results.After the correction,the behavior problems of the three students declined significantly through the behavioral questionnaires.This study draws the followin g conclusions:(1)Behavior correction can significantly reduce the problem behavior of sp ecial students.(2)Positive reinforcement and substitution reinforcement are often used in the application of behavioral correction.(3)Backup reinforcements should be considered when selecting reinforce ments.(4)Follow the Premack principle in the correction process.(5)Behavior correction has good social validity.According to the formulation,intervention and effect of this study’s behavio r correction plan,the researchers suggestthat in the intervention of behavior probl ems,we should pay attention to the role of cooperation between parents and v arious support systems,and pay attention to the prevention of problem behavio rs.In future research,we should explore the generalization of And more rigorou sly controlled experiments should be carried out.
