With the penetration of the concept of lifelong learning and the development of the information age,the individual learning style and learning environment have undergone subversive changes.Under this background,intergenerational learning has become a research hotspot in multidisciplinary fields such as pedagogy,sociology,and psychology.The phenomenon of intergenerational learning is a daily phenomenon in the family field,and it is a "potential" way for family members to exchange information and communicate emotions.Intergenerational learning brings the influence to family members.It not only provides opportunities for children to learn,but also meets the needs of adult learning.Thus it achieves the effect of mitigating intergenerational conflicts and building a learning family.It has the advantage that school and society education can’t match.This study focuses on the phenomenon of intergenerational learning in the family field.Through questionnaires and open interviews,this study attempts to reveal the current status of intergenerational learning.The research is divided into six parts:The first part is the introduction,which expounds the research origin,research significance and research design.The second part explains the concepts of family field,intergenerational learning and family education,sorts out and analyzes the research results of intergenerational learning at home and abroad and introduces the theoretical basis of intergenerational learning.The third part is the investigation of the current situation of family intergenerational learning.Including the analysis of questionnaire data and case family interview data,and finally summarize the survey results.The fourth part analyzes the factors affecting family intergenerational learning from the two dimensions of family and society based on current situation of research and analysis.The fifth part is the practical consideration of family intergenerational learning,and proposes countermeasures to promote intergenerational learning.The sixth part summarizes the research conclusions,research deficiencies and research prospects.The study found that intergenerational learning is widespread in family,and the intergenerational group has a higher willingness to learn.Intergenerational learning covers knowledge,skills,values,culture,social norms and many other aspects.The intergenerational learning direction presents the characteristics of one-way and two-way coexistence.The places of intergenerational learning are informal and diverse.The way of intergenerational learning is mainly from the traditional offline communication,and gradually turns to the combination of online and offline.Compared with rural families,urban family intergenerational learning methods are more diversified and learning effects are better.Family intergenerational learning has the practical value of relieving intergenerational conflicts,enhancing self-worth and promoting lifelong learning development,and presents the essential characteristics of multigenerational,diversity,reciprocity and continuity.
