Questioning,as a teaching method commonly used by teachers in classroom teaching,has a long history.As early as 2,000 years ago,Confucius put forward the idea of "no indignation,no grief,no hair",focusing on heuristic teaching.Socrates,a famous philosopher,is also very good at asking questions.In teaching,he often asks questions to the students and passes them some questions,so that the students realize that the previous conclusions are incorrect,so that they can get the correct answers.The status and role of classroom questioning is not only reflected in the high-frequency use of teachers,but also in the fact that valuable questions can arouse students’ attention,train their thinking,stimulate students’ imagination and encourage their active participation,so as to complete the corresponding teaching tasks in an orderly teaching process and make students develop in an all-round way.In today’s society,classroom questioning has become one of the key teaching links.Questioning is an important part of Chinese classroom teaching.Valuable classroom questioning can stimulate students’ creative thinking and encourage their growth.But in the real teaching process,there are still many imperfect problems,teachers are also facing many confusions.Classroom questioning is one of the indispensable links in Chinese classroom teaching.Good use of classroom questioning can promote the better development of students’ thinking.Excellent classroom questioning can improve the process of classroom teaching,let teachers and students,students and students in constant communication,improve the efficiency of classroom teaching,can better complete the efficient classroom.By means of literature research and questionnaire survey,the author investigates the current situation of Classroom Questioning in senior high school,analyses the causes of the problems encountered in the process of classroom questioning,and then optimizes classroom questioning teaching to improve the quality of language classroom teaching.Based on Dewey’s "five steps of thinking" and Brunei’s "discovery learning theory" and other theoretical foundations,this paper analyses the current situation of Chinese classroom questioning in senior high schools,and tries to optimize the classroom questioning teaching,hoping to provide reference and help for Chinese teaching.The purpose of this paper is to make classroom questioning enhance the communication between teachers and students,promote the physical and mental development of students,and make the classroom a place for teachers and students to communicate and discuss together.At the same time,this paper triesto provide some valuable and implementable methods and strategies for front-line Chinese teachers by analyzing and researching the problems existing in Chinese classroom questioning in senior high schools,so as to improve the ability of Chinese teachers to control classroom teaching and improve the efficiency of Chinese classroom teaching.
