With the development of oversea Chinese-teaching,there is a tendency of a much wider variety of Chinese learners,especially the increase of children that start to learn Chinese.As an effective method of language teaching for children,game teaching has become an frequently-used teaching method for many Chinese teachers in their classes for pupils.However,due to the lack of proper understanding of teaching methods and enough teaching experience,it is difficult for some new teachers to demonstrate this method in an appropriate way that promotes the Chinese learning of children,thus the effectiveness of class games teaching is beyond reach.As an efficient path of reflecting teaching process and gaining teaching experience,the case study plays a significant role in summarizing the approach of successful launch of game teaching in Chinese classes in the primary school.Based on plenty of real game-teaching cases that were collected when the author worked in Poland,this paper classifies them on the basis of elements of effective game teaching,analyses then summarizes the important points of fulfilling successful game teaching that shall be highlighted,and thus to seek a better way to launch class game teaching and to make a reference for Chinese teaching for children.This paper is divided into five parts.The first chapter is an introduction that introduces the background and meaning of the paper,relevant academic studies in game teaching and case study,as well as the research ideas and methods of this paper.The second chapter presents the current situation of Chinese teaching for children in Poland and takes No.12 Primary School as an example to introduce the teaching objectives of Chinese teaching in primary school.The third chapter is the core part that divides and analyses fifteen typical teaching cases from the perspectives of quality of instruction,appropriate levels of instruction,incentive and time,based on the mode of QAIT effective teaching,to rethink the reasons of successful or unsuccessful game teaching.The fourth chapter summarizes some important principles and matters when launching game teaching methods for children according to the previous analysis.The last chapter is an epilogue that concludes the paper and briefly states the deficiency of the paper.
