A Study On The Loss Of Counselors In Independent College

College counselors are engaged in ideological and political education and daily management of college students.They are the leaders and guardians of college students'healthy growth.The stability of counselor team affects the normal development of t student in colleges and universities.In recent years,the loss of the management counselors in independent colleges is particularly prominent,which has a serious impact on the management of students and the quality of education in independent colleges.Under the new situation,how to retain counselors and solve the problem of the loss of counselors has become an important issue to be solved in independent colleges.Based on the theory of motivation,the theory of human-job matching and Maslow's hierarchy of needs,this paper investigates six independent colleges in Fujian province by using the methods of literature,questionnaire and interview.The survey results show that the main reasons for the loss of counselors in independent colleges are narrow career development space,low job awareness,low salary and welfare benefits,great work pressure and unreasonable assessment methods.Therefore,this paper takes the question as the guidance,considers the development reality of independent colleges,and gives some suggestions to strengthen the stability of counselors:Firstly,establish and perfect the rules and regulations of counselors,and standardize the work of counselors scientifically;Secondly,remould counselors' professional cognition and improve their professional identity;Thirdly,broaden the development space of counselors and improve their development vision;Fourthly,improve the happiness of counselors'career and retain people with emotions.
