With the deepening of reform and opening up,the floating population in Shenzhen area,which is at the forefront of reform,is also showing a high growth trend.Many problems faced by urban migrant children have attracted the attention of all sectors of society.In the important period of 9-12 years old children's growth,their physical and mental development is rapid,while the problem of imbalance in growth is obvious.There are many pressures,contradictions and crises in parents' communication,peer group communication and school work.If these negative growth problems can not be alleviated in time,the long-term depression will inevitably lead to their pessimistic mood and emotional fluctuations,which will have a negative impact on their personality and healthy socialization.As a new assistant therapy,horticultural emotional therapy has been gradually applied to social work practice by social workers at home and abroad.The basic idea of "horticultural emotional therapy" is as follows:with the help of therapists,participants can get physical and mental adjustment and rehabilitation by participating in farming,horticultural creation and other activities.Horticultural therapy takes various forms,with particular emphasis on the process of participating in horticultural activities and the significance of the activities themselves.Through direct observation of the micro-world,students can experience the spiritual feelings brought by the color,taste and touch of different plants,and perceive their inner world in a new way.In this process of continuous experience,they can obtain achievements,gratitude and satisfaction.In horticultural activities,everyone not only has their own content to complete,but also needs to coordinate and help each other,including participants learn to express the mselves accurately and actively seek support.Based on the theory and practice of "horticultural emotional therapy" and 100-day internship experience,the author analyzed the operation process of"emotional awareness and horticultural experience workshop" project.The project introduces ecological theory into social work practice.Through group discussion,sharing,thinking and experiencing horticultural creation,10 migrant children aged 9-12 in Z community are treated with mentality therapy.Team members are guided to recognize and feel emotions,understand the value and significance of emotions,learn ways to regulate emotions,and experience the emotions and emotions brought about by cultivation and creation.Through the group work of this specialty,the migrant children who participated in it basically realized the practical effect of relaxing pressure,releasing emotion,dredging heart knots and improving the level of understanding and management of their own emotions.
