A Preliminary Study On The Theory And Application Of Virtual Study Travel Platform

Along with the development of computer and geographic information technology,virtual reality has been made a good use in the education in the recent five years.And after the launching of Fifth Year Plan on education,study travel has attracted constant attentions from society.At the same time,geographical practical ability is stressed as one of the key qualities to be cultivated in geography teaching.The current research focuses on the building of visual study travel platform,and discussed the feasibility and the value of the platform from the perspective of the need of it as well as its advantages.Many merits are demonstrated by using the visual study travel platform,including the planning of travel route,and the shallow depth of study caused by various activities within limited time during travel;besides,it is also good for the cultivation of geograpIhical practical ability.This study discussed the application of virtual research travel platform and put forward some principles and methods on the employment of the platform.Through the case study of learner's exploration study of Fujian Pingtan Banyang rock-sail,this study confirmed the feasibility and merits of using the platform.The current study expanded the research on study travel,and made some improvement in the operation and effects of study travel,finding an effective route for study travel to get out of potential dilemma.
